The Quiet Season
Created along the northern coast of France, this series continues my exploration of places deeply embedded in our collective imagination. Seaside resorts, promenades, beaches and leisure architecture, usually associated with the energy of summer, are presented here in silence. Freed from their usual function, these spaces reveal a different sense of time, where atmosphere, light and colour take precedence over activity. The occasional human presence contributes to this feeling of suspended time, inviting viewers to look again at places they believed they already knew.
