The Quiet Season
The Quiet Season was born from my travels along the northern coast of France, during the off-season. Here, I found myself wondering what becomes of a landscape once the people who usually give it life have gone. Through this series, I am interested less in absence itself than in what it reveals. As movement fades away, our way of looking begins to change. These places seem to recover a quieter, more fragile presence. My photographs seek to convey this suspended state. The soft palette reinforces this feeling, revealing a landscape that is no longer quite the one we think we know.
