Out - Rangiroa
An island where time loosens its grip, stretching into long, quiet hours that seem to repeat themselves. At the edge of Polynesia, life unfolds slowly, almost hesitantly, as if nothing truly needs to happen. There is little to do here, and that absence becomes a presence in itself. Boredom drifts through the days, softened by heat, salt, and silence. Gestures are unhurried, glances linger, and the world feels gently worn, as though it belongs to another era. In exploring Polynesia, I was drawn to this suspended state to places where time no longer pushes forward, but simply rests. I chose soft, slightly faded colors, hues that feel out of time, to reflect the way this island exists in my memory: sun-polished, fragile, and quietly distant. These images are not about movement or spectacle, but about waiting. About life slowed to its bare essentials. Rangiroa, in its stillness, becomes less a destination than a feeling : a quiet space where time seems to have stopped, and where even boredom carries a certain beauty.
